Wholesome recipes!



THIS is what we were all waiting for!


So, let us start from healing recipes!


This is one for us mums with a demanding lifestyle!


Let us think about what grows near us and now: local and seasonal foods!


It is Autumn, a time of gathering energy, of returning to mother nature, abundance and plenty: the harvest time!








An easy to make sweet & velvety soup

ingredients

  • 1/2 a squash (cubed), 1 small piece of kombu, water (approximately 4 cups), salt, shoyu or white miso to taste

instructions

  1. Place squash, kombu & water into a pot. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Once soft, blend until smooth. Add more water if necessary (depending on how thick you want the soup to be). Then add white miso or shoyu to taste. Garnish with watercress, parsley or spring onions to serve. Roasted almonds are a delicious garnish for this soup too.
