Over the rainbow Trail I go

Now I walk in beauty

Beauty is before me,

Beauty is behind me,

Above and below me. (repeat)

Over the rainbow trail I go - On toes to 8 counts of drumbeat

Hither I wander, thither I wander -Drum and step deeply on hither, wither

Over the beautiful trial I go. - 8 counts on toes to drumbeat

(repeat)

Mother Earth's children rise in the morn

Mother Earth's children gather corn.

Dance to the wind, dance to the rain,

Dance to the Earth who gives us grain.

Mother Earth's children put feathers in their hair

Mother Earth's children string beans to wear.

Dance to the wind, dance to the rain,

Dance to the Earth who gives us grain.

Mother Earth's children walk softly as the deer,

To the hearth with the golden ear.

Dance to the wind, dance to the rain,

Dance to the Earth who gives us grain.

A little fire they will make

Bread of golden corn they'll bake.

Dance to the wind, dance to the rain,

Dance to the Earth who gives us grain.

Bread of golden corn they'll eat

Then Mother Earth's children fall fast asleep.

(humming softly) Dance to the wind, dance to the rain,

Dance to the Earth who gives us grain.

(Repeat 'Over the Rainbow Trail I go

Hither I wander, thither I wander

Over the beautiful trail I go.” between all songs

and verses, same movements, no drumming.)

My paddle's keen and bright,

Flashing like silver.

Follow the wild goose flight,

Dip, dip and swing.

Dip, dip and swing it back, flashing like silver.

Follow the wild goose flight, dip, dip and swing.

Land of the silver birch,

Home of the beaver.

Wood where the mighty moose,

Wanders at will.

Green lakes and rocky shore,

I will return once more.

Follow the wild goose flight,

Dip, dip and swing.

Dip, dip and swing it back, flashing like silver,

Follow the wild goose flight, dip, dip and swing.

(Repeat verse.)

May we all fly like eagles

Flying so-o high

Circling the Universe

On wings of pure light

o witchi ti ti

Witchi ti o oh

o witchi ti ti

Witchi ti i oh

Witchi ti i oh

Witchi ti i o oh hoh

(Repeat verse.)

Mother Earth to you we're singing,

Listen to our song.

Thanks for golden harvest bringing,

Listen as we sing to you,

Sing to you, sing to you,

Songs of rain and sunshine.

On the trail where we are going

Ever will we sing.

When the winter comes with snowing

Still our hearts will sing to you,

Sing to you, sing to you,

Songs of rain and sunshine.

(Repeat verse.)

The moon on the one hand,

The sun on the other,

The moon is my sister,

The sun is my brother.

The moon on my left,

The sun on my right,

My brother “Good morning”,

My sister “Good night”.

Walk in beauty

I saw an angel today...

He was fat and without teeth, spoke Cockney and had a dog called Prince

He said to me: Whatever I choose to do it will come, My dream will come true but I need patience...He said all this in beautiful words which rhymed like a song or a poem, he spoke and touched my arm gently then he said goodbye and crossed the road and when I looked back he was gone, just vanished!
A true story, and I was with three children, not on my own!

I smiled to myself and walked and walked, and walked. I smiled and I felt warm. I looked around me and saw beauty everywhere...even if I was above the  motorway just before the Royal Standard....

And the children I am with each day teach me to see beauty everywhere and in everything.

The weeds by the side of an old wall... the sky above us on a windy day...

Today the Moon and the Stars where telling us something, there has been a lot of stirring lately...some people who cannot cope with this get irritable, tired, grumpy, even violent...other get very sleepy...the Universe asks us to stop and look, and rest...if we listen to it, we listen to ourselves to and respect our natural rhythm...if we don't we go out of synch and things can feel too much....

have you also experienced something similar today?

Deep Peace

Deep peace of the running wave to you,
Deep peace of the flowing air to you,
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you,
Deep peace of the shining stars to you,
Deep peace of the gentle night to you,
Moon and stars for their healing light on you,
Deep peace to you.

By the Mill Hotel in Sudbury, Suffolk, taken a few years ago...

Deep peace of the running wave to you
Deep peace of the flowing air to you
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you
Deep peace, deep peace.

Deep peace of the sleeping stones to you
Deep peace of the wandering wind to you
Deep peace of the flock of stars to you
Deep peace, deep peace.

Deep peace of the eastern wind to you
Deep peace of the western wind to you
Deep peace of the northern wind to you
Blue wind of the south to you

Pure red of the whirling flame to you
Pure white of the silver moon to you
Pure green of the emerald grass to you
Deep peace, deep peace

AS ONE

As one we walk this earth together
As one we sing to her our song
As one we love her
As one we heal her
Her heart beats with our own as one.

As one we join with her our mother
As one we feel her sacred song
As one we touch her
As one we heal her
Her heart beats with our own as one.

(Repeat)

As one, we must learn to walk in a sacred manner. Our precious Earth Mother longs for us to awaken. When we make ourselves pure, we bring in the light that assists her in her own healing process. She calls to us now--we must listen. ~~Denean

meanwhile the bees are buzzing...

Had a fun day yesterday at the little girls house ( my nanny work!)...we were busy bees, cleaning washing... and then I thought of making some bees! These bees you can eat! They are made of peanut butter, almond flour, wheatabix, dark chocolate sauce and almond flakes ' wings'. Of course, raisins for eyes...et voila'!
they need to set in the fridge, so we told the girls daddy to open the fridge to see them but to 'bee careful'!
then one of the bees actually flew into his mouth and kept buzzing!!

PS: if S. is reading this post ( mommy of I. and A. ) yes I did 'steal' the idea from you, looked on a website to get recipe!)

yummy!

have a go...messy and sticky fun...lots of fingers to lick! ( yes do put a bit of sugar in the mix!)

MIx ingredients with a bit of soft butter and shape into small olive shaped balls

melt dark chocolate and put into a little bag and snip a tiny corner off and squeeze chocolate onto balls to do the stripes

very tricky to get proper stripes! but this is our first attempt at this recipe, I am sure that with practice we will get better...

Now the almond flakes for wings...

bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

have fun!

PS

I have the tent for camping and got a torch and cutlery, cups and plates!
But I am still a bit restless...I feel I want to get the tent out  in the lounge and try to see how it works...!

Just one more cup of tea...

I am excited and a tiny bit scared ( adrenaline!)...I am thinking about going camping with my daughter ( oh no, my husband is not the camping sort...and especially with other Steiner -Hippy people!).
The start day is...Friday aaaaaaaaaaah! In just 5 days! That means I have 4 days to get ready ...no...3 days because today doesn't count...Panick!

The thing I forgot to say and most important is that this is going to be the very first time camping, I mean proper camping with tent and everything!

We don't even have a tent; we are borrowing one!

Just one more cup of tea...I need to think!
...
...
...
ok...
plan....write down what I need

What do I need?

luggage full of warm socks, 1 jumper, 3 t shirts, underwear, raincoats, wellies, 4 blankets (!)sleeping bags cushions? cups ? oh no we have to go to a camping shop!

Will we survive next weekend without the essentials? And I don't even know which are the essentials!

The essential thing is that I need to remain calm and write it all down and ...oh for sure there are tutorials on the internet on how to put a tent up!?!

Hoping it won't rain next weekend near Brighton...

Lavender farm

Downderry Lavender farm on a warmish-coldish summer's day; the photos will speak more than my words!
The smell hits you as you enter this small purple heaven! Unfortunately I cannot let you smell lavender through this blog, so if you have some lavender essential oil put a drop on to your neck or wrist and then look at the images!
The bees were very busy and happy and we were very pleased to be there too!

That is one type I bought ...perhaps my favourite of all...silvery green...so elegant!

There were quirky and unusual features in the farm!

I couldn't resist these sachets...got one for my laundry cupboard!

Lavender dreams to all! xxx
