And all the angels sing

What to do and what to say

when hanging by a thin thread

when all I do is pray

when all I have is my head

Heart in throat, trying to sing

not weep

the song that I keep

singing out

loud

shout

so that the angels can sing with us

And so be it

it's the dream come true

The angels sing

and we are singing too

Heath and sky

 Heath and sky

Here am I

Taking in all with a deep breath

Letting it all out

Breath in and shout

This vast space, the heath

Yoga oasis for a while

Wishing the ordeal to end

And soon say goodbye

With all the memories sweet

Now all I want is to fly

Breath in the sky

Breath out and cry

Fly to the sea of blue

Move to the south skies

Trust the Universe, the Angels

Calling the four directions

Keeping calm and positive

High spirits

 Let the summer spirits

soar high

gliding, flying, reaching

for the stars

Rise up and surrender

to the full glow

to the fast flow

Receive and digest

the energy and the intensity

of it all

only to then fall

down, back to the earth

slow and steady

getting ready

Breathe, breathe through it

feet in the grass, hand in the soil

heart throb, soul boil

Risen with the heat of July

time is passing by

soon, very soon

shall be able to find peace, rest

making space, to rest

soon in my new nest

one more breath

one more

and one more

...

Tapestry

 Now, soon, we shall be

near, very near, my dear

The moon guides us

to the shores, the sand, the rocks

glistening in July's sun rays.

The seagulls come to let us know;

now, soon, we shall be

moving to the sea, you'll see.

The last threads shall be woven,

carefully chosen, love, unbroken,

our tapestry of many colours,

sea breeze, flowers

awaiting,

the long painful hours

then, unweighting.

Moments away, the time is here,

Just a few more breaths:

Out, in, out, release

Sea song

 Shifting, surely swiftly,

She calls, I tell her

I feel, the pull

Her call

Wait, still

while I wait

Soon it will

all move forward

the wait is long

the wait is hard

Sea song sweetly sings in my ear

From afar, I still hear her

Moving closer

Won't be long,

almost there,

We shall be near

You will see

I shall sing your song

The sea, you and me

There was a time...

There was a time when meadow, grove, and stream,
The earth, and every common sight,
To me did seem
Apparelled in celestial light,
The glory and the freshness of a dream.
It is not now as it hath been of yore;—
Turn wheresoe'er I may,
By night or day,
The things which I have seen I now can see no more.

....

....

....

Hence in a season of calm weather
Though inland far we be,
Our Souls have sight of that immortal sea
Which brought us hither,
Can in a moment travel thither,
And see the Children sport upon the shore,
And hear the mighty waters rolling evermore.

....

....

....

Thanks to the human heart by which we live,
Thanks to its tenderness, its joys, and fears,
To me the meanest flower that blows can give
Thoughts that do often lie too deep for tears.

Extracts from Ode: Intimations of Immortality

by William Wordsworth

The World Is Too Much With Us

The World Is Too Much With Us

The world is too much with us; late and soon,
Getting and spending we lay waste our powers;
Little we see in Nature that is ours;
We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon!
This Sea that bares her bosom to the moon,
The winds that will be howling at all hours,
And are up-gathered now like sleeping flowers,
For this, for everything, we are out of tune;
It moves us not. —Great God! I'd rather be
A Pagan suckled in a creed outworn;
So might I, standing on this pleasant lea,
Have glimpses that would make me less forlorn;
Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea;
Or hear old Triton blow his wreathèd horn.

William Wordsworth
