Still December Moon

Still,

so still,

this December Moon,

tells me:

do slow down

and rest,

find peace and be quiet.

And so I breathe in the sun, the frost, the cold moon and the stars

and dream of pine scented forests and snow...

the snow...

as I do love winter, you know.

from a nearby garden, here in Margate

Welcome December

The first day leading to the shortest of the year;

When we are born again and a new life cycle begins.

Waiting for the light, we commemorate the hope it brings.

Welcome December

A peaceful time as Nature's creatures hunker down;

Starling murmations, mesmerising in the sky;

A Cold Moon shimmers with star clusters, way up high.

Welcome December

Bare trees, trellised in patterns on icy fields;

Robins hop from branch to branch, singing their song;

Nature's landscapes, etherically beautiful, quiet, surreal.
